Thanks. Yes, I’m doing everything except putting cover on. Water temp is about 64 looks like. I may wait another week. We’re supposed to have some low temps next week (22 or so on Thursday night according to weather man) that should pull the water temp down a bit more.

Hello again, So in closing up the pool, I discovered a crack in the neck (side and going on across the top) of skimmer. I’m wondering if this type crack is patchable or am I looking at having a new skimmer installed. I am attaching pictures. Thanks for any advice.

So I’m going out of town for several days. My CYA is 40, PH 7.5 today. I’ve been adding about 2qts, 1 cup bleach for the last several days to maintain chlorine of 4/5. I’ve read some of the threads of others and pucks were suggested, as an alternative, to use when your gonna be gone for a week...

Thanks so much! I actually do have a salt system installed. The Board that gives all the readings is not working and I just haven’t replaced it. May have to do that if the bleach situation gets worse. Thanks again for your help.

Hi, whew! I met OCLT this morning. My numbers are: FC 15.5 (16 last night at last reading); PH 7.8; TA 50; CYA 30. Do I add stabilizer now or let the chlorine level drift down a bit? Thanks so much for helping me get to this point...
