Two weeks ago the PB did an acid bath to correct some under-exposure issues with pebble finish - 20 gal of acid and 4 days later they dropped a bunch of baking soda in the pool and did what PB do best...disappeared! Trying to get things stabilized and running again has been challenging. Todays...

Hahaha! If the pool store guys were that old I could possible believe them but when its a kid I'm a bit skeptical.

I'm in Va. Things are pretty hot at the moment. The TFP app for your phone has suggested ranges based on the readings you input. OK....think I will head to the pool store and grab some stabilizer.

Thanks mknauss. Cartridge is out. Should I put some more stabilizer in to raise my CYA. The chart doesn't show an FC value for a CYA of 50 with a SWG? Should I trust the TFP app recs? Cheers Happy 4th

Thanks. The pool is clear. According to the Chlorine/ CYA chart and Poolmath, that's an awful let of bleach. Better take the truck to Walmart. So I don't need the expensive mineral cartridge?
