Above ground Intex pool installers in north/central NJ

I used 4 inch thick solid half cinderblocks and put two under each supporting leg side-by-side. I’ve had the pool up for over two months now and we’ve gotten a tropical storm, flooding and several torrential downpours and the pool hasn’t budged.

Adding liquid chlorine while running automatic vacuum attached to return jet

Any problem with me adding liquid chlorine while my automatic vacuum is running/attached to the return jet for 12 hours at night? I’m wondering if the chlorine won’t circulate as well while the vacuum is attached. So far I’ve only ever added chlorine when the vacuum is not attached.

Still shock pool occasionally if numbers always look good?

I have my target listed as 6FC with a range of 4 to 8 On the Pool Math app. Should I have my target higher?

Still shock pool occasionally if numbers always look good?

I have an Intex 12 x 24 rectangular pool up and running for over a month now and the water has been crystal clear, numbers have consistently looked good. I’ve been following the Pool Math app religiously and using 12.5% liquid chlorine daily and keeping up with granular CYA. Vacuum and brush...

    ants in pool after rain

I was just about to post this exact topic. It’s been an issue here for about a week. I know it’s not just my house. My entire neighborhood has been complaining on Facebook about winged ants in all of their pools. Definitely mating season because I’m seeing a bunch of them two by two in the pool...

2 pavers broke after pool is full

I set up the entire pool and had the pool standing upright with no water, and then I dug the pavers right after that. I have nine 1/2 inch thick pieces of the triple taped 4 x 8 foam insulation, and I ended up putting the cinderblocks right up against the edge of the foam all the way around. I...

    Intex Ultra Frame "reference points"?

I have the 24x12 Ultraframe and the legs are fully out about 1 foot beyond the dimensions of the pool ( 25 feet x 13 feet). So when your case, It should end up being about 33 feet x 17 feet.

2 pavers broke after pool is full

Nope the solid cinderblocks have not budged. There’s no way 2 inch pavers would have withstood the elements and weight of the pool.

2 pavers broke after pool is full

I have your exact pool and originally had 2 inch thick pavers that cracked. I ended up replacing with 4 inch thick solid concrete Cinderblocks without the holes- 16” x 8” and put two side-by-side under each U-shaped support leg. I’ve had all kinds of heavy rain since setting up the cinderblocks...

    Vacuum for Intex

I just want to add that I got the Intex automatic vac a week ago and it works beautifully with my current set up. I have an Intex 12 x 24 rectangular Ultra frame and upgraded to the 3000 GPH filter pump. It was definitely worth the upgraded pump because that vacuum speeds around like a race car...

Intex Rectangular Ultra Frame - Covering frame holes & Corner Joints

Has anyone temporarily for the season, or permanently covered the upper frame holes and/or the corner joints on a temporary or permanent basis for the Intex Rectangular Ultra Frame? Our pool is brand new and I already noticed carpenter bees wanting to made a home inside the upper frame holes...

    Newbie Mom With Intex 18’ x 9’ x 52” pool. Help!

In my case I hired a pool contractor with a bobcat skid steer to do the ground leveling and they used a Transit to confirm the level. I had them level 6 Feet wider and 6 feet longer than the actual dimensions of the pool and it turned out to be a good size for leveling. Then after the pool was...
