How long is the wire that goes from the adapter to your easytouch? I could do that as well but I would need a wire that's about 40ft. long and I'm guessing the one it comes with is much shorter.

I was planning on using a wireless bridge to replace the interface kit (they are basically the same thing) since I already have it. Cat 5 from the protocol adapter will plug in to the bridge and then the wire that goes to the easytouch.

Where do most people mount the protocol adapter? I was thinking of just purchasing a waterproof outdoor box that would house the protocol adapter/wireless bridge and surge protector and then just run the single wire from there to my easytouch. Somthing like this...

I think I may go this route but also use a wireless bridge so I don't have to run a cable to it. Has anyone done something similar?

My current system (pentair easytouch 8) has a wireless pentair remote that I use to manage the pool remotely. Is there way to tell what additional equipment I need to use one of the iOS apps on my iphone or ipad? Thanks

Just to follow up, replacing the ignitor did not fix the issue (AGS light still lit and heater would shut off after 20 seconds). I then replaced the circuit board which resolved the issue.

Moved from HERE I may have the same issue. AGS light comes on and heat shuts off after 15 or 20 seconds. Shorting out the AGS wires doesn't clear the AGS light. Found a mouse had chewed on one of the ignitor wire covering (but no the wire itself) and continuity was not zero. Hope thats the...

Did you ever figure this out? I have the exact same issue and found that a mouse had eaten the covering of one wires of the ignitor but not the wire itself. Someone mentioned on another thread that it could be the ignitor as it still works but fails to give flame rectification. I'm going to...

The safety features are key as the last thing you want is acid getting dumped in out of control and losing $8,000 in plaster. Thanks for the feedback.

I'm interested in this as well, looks like a nice setup (albeit more expensive than a homegrown solution).
