I was working for days to get my CYA down to 70, and by the time I accomplished that, I forgot to account for the pH. It was at 9 when I started. Should I add hcl now? Do I have to start over? Worry about it later? 🫠

I did 7mL pool water, tap water to 15mL, poured out half of that, added the reagent to 15mL, shook, waited 1 minute, and then filled the view tube to the very top and could still see the dot. Given that strange result, I started over. Collected a new sample and did the undiluted test again...

Hi all! I bought a house with a pool in April. It had not been opened for the year, and we've been working on that for 3 weeks now. I've taken TFP as law and purchased the test kit and chemicals suggested. With the water green as can be, I'm trying to start a SLAM. My problem is that the CYA...
