    Replacement for Jandy Pool Light

My pool light has died so it looks like I need a replacement. However, Jandy lights don't seem to be sold online any longer and I would be open to alternatives. Failed light: Jandy CPHVLEDS150 Niche: Hayward SP0600U Not sure if this makes a difference, but I use iAqualink to turn the light...

    Filter Union Ring

I have a Jandy CL460 filter. I need the threaded union ring (not sure if that is the correct term) that you tighten to connect the outlet to the pump. My ring has a slight crack and is leaking. Does anyone know if the drain cap ring is the same? Online it looks like the drain cap can get here...

    Input System for Outdoor Speakers

I ended up going the Echo Input route and it has worked great for the past year. My receiver doesn't go on standby...so I just either leave it on, or turn it on/off as needed. I know this doesn't answer your question, so hopefully someone else will know.

    Headed to Pool Store! Help

I am new to pools so I don't have any advice, but I have a similar, single spot in my pool that I am curious about. What did the pool store say?

    Inflatable Slide Recommendations?

I bought the red Intex Kool Splash Kids inflatable at the end of April and it has stayed inflated on the side of the pool since. It has worked well so far with no problems. My kids are elementary school age, so they're probably gentler on it than older kids. Paid $110 for it then, but looks like...

    Waterline Tile Grout Repair

I recently repaired some missing grout and cracked tiles. I used the EZ Patch 3 to reset tiles and EZ Patch 4 to grout. I added a little concrete dye from Home Depot to the grout mix to better match the surrounding grey grout. FWIW: I have never done grout work before; I just watched their...

    Honey Bees

You might try adding some lemongrass oil too. The mint/lemongrass combo seems to attract them for me, and smells good for us as well.

    Water loss

I recently discovered my pool had a small leak when the pool was over-filled. Using some dye in a syringe and a pair of goggles I stuck my head in the water and methodically released tiny threads of dye around the tile line until I saw it getting sucked in. Turns out there was a small leak where...

    Honey Bees

I'm only a year in to backyard beekeeping but from what I understand bees need the water to cool their hive on hot days, so there is likely a hive near by. Once they find a good source of water they will keep coming back to the same spot with their sisters. They take the water back to the hive...

    iAqualink IQ20-RS upgrade?

2 years ago I bought a house with a pool. The salt cell and salt board was bad. At the time I got a quote from PB to upgrade my Jandy system to the aqualink iphone capability. The bid was $3,800 so I said no. Per the PB in 2018: My salt cell is not compatible with the iphone upgrade so I needed...

    Culligan Water Softener Salt

I have a bunch of Culligan Water Softener Salt (~7 years old) from a system no longer used at my office. Is this appropriate to use in my pool? Bag says Solar Extra Course Sodium Chloride. Looking on the Culligan website it says: "Our high purity solar salt contains up to 99.6% pure salt...

    Input System for Outdoor Speakers

Sonos looks great, a little pricey. I have a Russound system that already has zones for different rooms and controls. I just need something to let me stream from the pool back to the AV closet.

    Input System for Outdoor Speakers

I think the bluetooth range won't make it for the adapter. It's about 75ft from pool to AV closet, through multiple walls. Maybe I could run RCA cable to the AV closet to the pool for the adapter. I like the echo dot idea! Thank you for the suggestions!
