It rained all day today here in Brooksville. It wasn't a summertime humid rain either. It was a cool, dark, and rainy day. On the license plate colors, all of the Yankees are starting to return for the milder Floridian winters.

10'' Roots are huge, 23'' trunk diameter is huge. My biggest pines are 60' as well, but 18-19'' diameter at most around the trunk. FWIW, in Hernando County where I am at, trees of 26''+ diameter require permit for removal. Most of the pines around here don't seem to get past 20'' diameter...

there's no way in hel that's acceptable on a new pool install. that is visibly out of square w/o having to bust out a tape measure. i would have them fix that too... just remember that after you cut the checks, and the subs are long gone, that you will have to live with this, and you should...

Honestly, three skimmers would be a waste/counterproductive for the reason I already stated. Two skimmers is plenty enough for you, when considering the minimal leaf debris you will face. Some will blow in the wind from places, but no where near enough for three skimmers, and a lack of trees...

I know you will have a really large pool, but are you certain you want three skimmers? Is the debris accumulation potential really that bad? The reason I am asking is that the suction, flow rate, skimming power, whatever you want to call it is going to be split amongst the number of skimmers...

It is important to note, however, that sometimes these hydrostatic relief valves fail/get stuck/ break. If you EVER drain a pool for an extended period in FL, drill a hole in the deep end. It can be repatched before refill. Way too many pools that are drained in FL float due to high water...

Considering your rebar guy is being such a scumbag, make sure to ask the gunite guys if everything is ok with the rebar work when they come out for their pre-shoot inspection. That will be your last chance to remedy any errors. I don't mean to beat a dead horse here, but I would definitely go...

Yeah, we've noticed the difference here in Brooksville, FL for sure. Midday is nice w/ no humidity, but the evenings and mornings certainly are cool.
