1 1/2 yr old $100K pool and 2 issues already

Hi all, This forum has been most helpful during construction and we have 2 issues with our year old pool. First the LED lights (which were sold hard by the contractor) are not in sync. We have been told by Jandy turn off and turn back on - no help whatsoever. Second, our tanning ledge bubblers...

    Pool Safety equipment?

@Bam Bam, yes we do have the self closing latches on our required fence but we also installed another fence as well. It has a lock, but think I'll add self closing latch as well. Thanks @bmoreswim - Your pool area looks gorgeous!! Thanks for suggestion - I got a rescue float from the RedCross...

    Pool Safety equipment?

Hi all, First season with the pool and wondered if others have purchased a floatation rescue device? RedCross sells a LIFE patrol Rescue Tube (35") long for $85. I guess the old ring type design has been improved to a tube. Of course, swim lessons are a given, but want to make sure it is the...

    What is a surfactant?

Hi all! So, we are 4 months in being pool/spa owners and LOVE LOVE it! We have some icky poo things floating on the top of the water - not sure what. The water itself is clear. We bought and use the TFP water testing method. Pool contractor had a pool service company maintain for the first...

    Towel recommendations

Perhaps silly to ask on this thread, but to buy 8-10 towels is a bit of an investment ( ok, not an investment, but $$)! Anyone have experience with Turkish towels (WetCat) - they are thin, but supposedly dry fast and absorbent. Brand recommendations - searching on Amazon is a bit overwhelming...

    New Pool, North Atlanta, GA

We have SimpliSafe for our home and we added additional window alarms. I called the city inspector beforehand and he told me the requirements, then called SimpliSafe to confirm it meets code and we are good! A lot less expensive than having the PB add them. Your pool is gorgeous! Enjoy!!

    New Pool, North Atlanta, GA

We waited until we are early 60s! A little too long, but you do what you can do, when you can do it, right? (Wish the federal govt. budget worked that way, but that's another story!). We are LOVING the pool and spa- so worth it. The way home prices in the North Atlanta area have shot up, I...

What do I need to buy?

Hi all, So we are now swimming! Yay!! The PB provides pool start up and care for the first month. We've been reading and learning a lot on TFP, but if someone could tell me what we need to buy on here for continued maintenance, that would be great! Many thanks!!
