    Pentair iChlor Error

Update to close out this thread. Pentair ended up replacing the entire cell under warranty with a new iChlor 30 today. I am back up and running after dealing with manually adding chlorine for about a month and that was more of a pain than I expected it to be.

    Pentair iChlor Error

Thank you for your comments. I did check and I do have the same flow I normally get at the returns and I am confident I do not have an actual water flow issue. I did backwash the sand filter this morning to make absolutely sure and pressure was as it typically is after I backwashed and flow...

    Pentair iChlor Error

Within the last 4 days my approximately 2 year old iChlor 30 stopped producing chlorine. The SALT and CELL lights are flashing red and the FLOW light is flashing green. The OUTPUT screen is displaying "FLO". When I go into diagnostics mode I am able to read the Total Cell Hours (1,950) and...

    CH with SWCG

Thank you. I do keep my pool filled via a water softener as you guessed above. This is the 3rd swimming pool I have owned in Tucson and the other two were filled with high CH city water and not softened water. Its hard to imagine having to raise CH here right? My other two pools always had...

    Need advice about glass.

I'll chime in here as well. I have had three different pools and 4 different filter types. My first pool was on a cartridge filter. My second pool was initially sand filter and switched to a DE filter when the sand filter failed. My current pool has a sand filter and is filled with Dr Dryden...

PH quick rise on recently renovated pool

Thanks Dirk. I read through much of your thread. The intelliph sounds like potentially a good solution....I will need to find out if it is compatible with my iCHLOR as you noted.

PH quick rise on recently renovated pool

Thanks for your thoughts. I agree that the PH rise is probably mostly due to new plaster. I had not considered the TA of my fill water and the high current evaporation rate. I will test my fill water soon to see if it has higher TA than the pool water. I understand and agree on the...
