I tested the pool this morning with a different volt meter and a analog tester and there is no voltage.Must have been a faulty meter.I had the pool completely retired after I bought the house by a journeyman Electriction and never an issue since.I just check it sometimes I guess for safety...

It’s dark I’ll do it in the morning.I have one of those shock alerts and it show no ac voltage.I’m going to check it tomorrow with a analog meter.

I periodically check my pool for stray voltage just as a precaution.I accidentally had my meter on D.C. And noticed 25v DC with one probe in the water on the other on the painted deck.No AC voltage.Maybe it's always been there. Thanks Tom

Yes, several days before the fuse blew,Strange I been adding salt that way for 8 years.Guess I better change how I do that.

It has been running fine now for 24 hours.Still there is a reason that 20 amp fuse blew.

Ok,thanks,I was out of town for 12 days and prior to that I did add some salt.I did add some salt prior to that time because we have had a lot of rain.I will keep an eye on it.Again thanks so much for your help. Tom

Thank you,I did as you said and all is up and running as it should.There has to be a reason that fuse blew.I am quite mechanically inclined.I replaced the thermistor a few years ago and it is solid. Tom

I just replaced the little 20 amp fuse and my salt reading says 3.20 What do I do now? Tom

Replace the fuse,if it don't blow check my reading that may tell what the problem is and also I have printed What tests to run with my multimeter. Tom

I found so far the little 20 amp fuse seams to be blown,not getting a value reading.
