I do. I tried that before, all I did was cool my pool off :( also was not thinking to turn that off at night. And I ran it for 3 days didn't see much of a difference really.
13.5 ppm free chlorine
0 combined chlorine
20 drops to get to 7.2 base
90 ppm alkali
30ppm calcium hardness
Cya 80
Tested with Taylor 2006
Just coming off a slam. Slam has been going for 4 days or so. I have borax looking to see how much to add.
Second test I come up with 25 ppm chlorine and 4 drops to get back to clear on the combined chlorine test. I don't understand the directions on how to calculate that.
So. Free chlorine. 22.5 ph 6.5. Maybe. Total alkali 100ppm. Maybe. Hardness 230 ppm. Cya 55. Maybe. I don't know that I am getting accurate results. I watched the video 6 times now but my colors don't match exactly.
Total alkalinity test turns blue instead of green. And takes 10 drops to turn yellow instead of pink or red. Hardness test turns purple then to blue. 230ppm ch.
A day early! So here's what I got for free chlorine. 22.5ppm. Should I bother to test the rest when it's this high? And can I swim when it's this high?
