Need some guidance on getting ph up.

Took 17 drops to get to the 7.4 mark using the Taylor 2006. Looking to see how much borax to add

7.0 is not too crazy low. Do you have any way to aerate the water? Generate some bubbles and get air moving around? That will do it naturally. If that doesn't work or you can't aerate, use the Poolmath calculator to increase only the minimal amount of borax required to get you to about 7.2-7.4. PH usually increases on its own quite rapidly.

I do. I tried that before, all I did was cool my pool off also was not thinking to turn that off at night. And I ran it for 3 days didn't see much of a difference really.

Raising TA may help too but how are you chlorinating? Using chlorine trichlor pucks will cause PH to drop.

Put some borax in based on the app. Instant cloud. Turned the pump off to let it settle
