Florida Space Coast resident here in east central Florida … are there competing models that support Pentair’s automation control panel. Looking for the most affordable solution to accommodate my constrained budget. I may even endeavor to do a self install.

Get yourself Aquacheck Salt Titration test strips, they are very reliable and provide more accurate readings than an SWG readout which can be very temperature dependent. That’s what I do with my Pentair IC40 … it always tends to indicate higher salt pppm’s with higher temps on my control panel...

I do like all of the methods folks recommend for cooling down a pool. One method which is conspicuously absent is for solar heated pool owners ... just run the solar panels during the night to cool down your pool's temperature.

A temperature issue just cropped up on my MasterTemp 400. It will heat up fine to the desired temperature ... usually 98-100 degrees; but as the spa cools down, the heater doesn't fire back up until the spa temp drops down to 94-95. Is there a way that I can keep the temperature range tighter...

Pool has been at 93 degrees during the day for the past 4 weeks thanks to my solar panels. Just right for my tired bones.
