Circuit Board Fried During Power Surge - Looking for Replacement (AS-5TD)

Endless Pool is telling me it will be over $1,000 to replace the hydraulic controller with an EP3 board/unit. My Endless Pool will then be run by remote control, making the button and knob on my pool useless. Really frustrating when a simple part failure results in replacing the whole...

Circuit Board Fried During Power Surge - Looking for Replacement (AS-5TD)

It seems like the boards sole purpose is to set a 30-minute limit on the swim jet. I would prefer to replace it but I wonder if there is a way to bypass it. Not sure what I can do if the part has been discontinued. It is amazing to me how many fraudulent websites I can find when I search to...

Circuit Board Fried During Power Surge - Looking for Replacement (AS-5TD)

The circuit board that runs the switch for my Endless Pool got fried during a power surge. It is called a 725835-0 LEN GORDON| CIRCUIT BOARD, LEN GORDON, AS-5TD. 30 MIN DELAY. An air tube runs from a button to the unit. When I Google the part, which seems to be used for other things besides...

Control Button Sticking (Hot Spring Grandee - 2005 - pic attached)

UPDATE: I found out that I could easily remove the bezel by removing the two screws. The problem was a mechanical spring that wasn't properly coiled. Anyone know where to get a replacement?

Control Button Sticking (Hot Spring Grandee - 2005 - pic attached)

Yesterday my daughter and a couple of friends were in the hot tub. I'm guessing they were mashing on the jet buttons. Regardless, the JET1 button now is stuck and doesn't have the same action as the other buttons. You can see a bit in the attached pic that the button is pressed in more than...

New VSP for Endless Pool - What RPM to Heat?

Thanks again, Afton. The heater operates with the pump at 900 rpm. Just wasn't sure if this was inefficient (taking longer to heat) or could negatively impact the heater. On heating the room, yes, when swimming the temp needs to be up. But I'm thinking about when the room is empty for the...

New VSP for Endless Pool - What RPM to Heat?

Thanks, AftonJeeper. I'm wondering if the high RPM is necessary, especially when heating something as small as 3000 gallons. What is the downside of running at 900 rpm? A related question. I don't normally heat the room the Endless Pool is in in the Winter. I do turn it on around Christmas...

New VSP for Endless Pool - What RPM to Heat?

I just purchased and installed a new Hayward VSP for my Endless Pool (around 3000 gallons). The pool is in an enclosed heated space and has a cover. The pool heater is a Spa-Pak 5500w. What is the best RPM to run the Hayward variable speed pump at to heat the pool? Because of its small size...

Electrical Help for Hayward SP2302VSP Max-Flo VS Variable-Speed Pool Pump

Thanks, Jim! Does the 20 amp GFCI breaker need to be 2-pole? I'm guessing that it needs to be 2-pole since it will need two circuits for the 230v?

Electrical Help for Hayward SP2302VSP Max-Flo VS Variable-Speed Pool Pump

Thanks! I think I'll be fine with the 30 amp breaker. Since it is a dedicated circuit, does it matter that it is 12/2 and won't go above 10 amps, or does it require 10/2 because the breaker is 30 amps? Also, anyone know if it needs to be GFI? Any idea on whether it needs a GFCI?

Electrical Help for Hayward SP2302VSP Max-Flo VS Variable-Speed Pool Pump

I've finally decided to replace my current pool pump with a variable speed pump, the Hayward SP2302VSP Max-Flo VS. I need to upgrade the dedicated circuit from 115V, what the prior pump ran on, to 230V. I'm trying to buy the parts for the electrician so that it will take as little time to put...

Endless Pool - Leaks "Only" When People Are In It?

I inherited, from the prior owner of my house, an in-door Endless Pool. The pool is in one room and I have access to the entire pool in the basement, under the pool. Last year I had what i thought was a leak in the liner...so this year I decided to just go ahead and replace it and the Endless...
