    Black-Out Safety Cover?

So I opened the pool two weeks ago (Mid-April) and it was clear as could be minus some easily vacced dirt and a few leaves. It's already balanced and we swam in it last weekend. So thanks for the tip everyone!

    Black-Out Safety Cover?

Thanks gentlemen. I guess I'll give this a shot this year, it sure beats buying a new cover.

    Black-Out Safety Cover?

Do these things really work and if so, what manufacturer's would you recommend? I have a standard mesh safety cover and I'm tired of opening my pool to a green mess every year. At my previous residence I tried the solid tarp style cover with a sump pump and I opened the pool to clean water...

Pool motor needs replacing again, am I being scammed?

I looked at the UST1152 which I'm guessing is what was on their the first time and they have a 12 month warranty sadly. If this one goes in 2 years I'll find another guy.

Pool motor needs replacing again, am I being scammed?

I had them replace the motor since I needed the pool open today. Looks like they took the old one. I know I got a Hayward 1.5 Super Pump when the original was replaced 2 seasons ago. I'm attaching pics of the new motor and general plumbing setup.

The company I use opened the pool the following year and the pump motor was seized. I wanted to convert to salt so...

    Solar Cover Advice

Thanks. I got a nice Rocky Reel for it, so we roll it up when we swim and put it back on for nights to keep the heat in. I suppose I can blanket over the rolled up cover when it's not in use and see what happens.

    Solar Cover Advice

Thanks. It's a shame that's the case, it's a good half day of effort to replace the cover and cut it to fit. I'd be willing to pay a good deal more for an option that would last me 5 years without a headache.

    Solar Cover Advice

We had a solar cover about 9 years ago at my previous home that lasted 3 seasons and was still in good shape when we sold the place. Fast forward 3 years ago at our new place and I purchased another one since we loved it so much at the previous place. At the end of the 2016 season, it was...
