Thinking of changing my 21500 gal agp chlorinated pool to SWG any good reads on equipment? Tired of humping chlorine.

#1 Looking to add a new pump I have a Hayward 1 1/2 hp now that I’ve had for 9yrs and looking to upgrade before this one gives out. Thinking about a 1 1/2 hp 2 speed I’m up for best pump for the money and electricity savings I run my pump 12 hrs a day . 30 ft rd 21500 gal can you all weigh in?

I have a e series Hayward sand filter it says to add 200 lbs of sand my sand is hafeway up from last year . I can’t remember if the sand supposed to be up 3/4 full? Can anyone tell me. Thanks

Yes I have pumped most of the water off. My water level is about 8” below skimmer just wanted to make sure it’s ok to bring my water level up with the cover on. Will definitely make it easier to reach the debris.

I have a lot of dead leaves on my pool cover this year. Can I fill my pool up to my skimmer to make the debris easier to clean off. Before I take cover off. Above ground pool.

I’m not sure if I flooded the pump this morning when I cleaned the pump filter it kicked off my bracket thought I let it dry out for 2 hrs but still keeps kicking it off . Tried reset button then plug in a tire pump and the breaker worked fine. So I’m wondering should I just let it dry out...

Amen we’ve all been there ! Just say no to pool stores unless you need a quick part!

Looking at the Hayward AQL-Chem 4 any other systems I may need to take a look at? Tired of lugging fallen jugs around.

We have a possible hurricane coming this week any tips for a 30’ round above ground pool. Looking for any tips I may have not thought of.

Yes I put a new replacement top on this year and scotch guarded it with the UV rays guard from scotch guard from Lowe’s. Did not protect the first one and the sun faded it after 2 seasons in Virginia heat. The s stuff works great!
