Possible Plaster Warranty Claim or am I dreaming

Thanks. It does make me feel a little better that this may just be par (or bogey) for the course. If imperfections will always exist, is there a particular color folks should consider (or stay away from) to hide these? In hindsight, if I would have known this light blue color was going to be...

Possible Plaster Warranty Claim or am I dreaming

I bought a home and as a first time pool owner, had the pool re-plastered in 2017 with QuartzScapes Tahoe Blue with 7 year warranty. From the day it was installed, I felt it was not done correctly. I saw a lot of mottling (blue dye swirls) early on, some Crocodile skin looking patterns...

Water chemistry sufficient to turn-on new CircuPool RJ45+ ?

Thanks for the responses. Yes, I figured that pool store test was undependable, so waiting for my K-1766 test kit to come in. I don't have any scaling. I've always kept my CYA low in case I had to switch to pucks during travel, but I'll bump that. I do use pool Math and my CSI ranges between...

Water chemistry sufficient to turn-on new CircuPool RJ45+ ?

Purchased and almost completed the install of my CircuPool RJ45+. After 7 years of following the TFP bleach approach I decided to bite the bullet and go SWG, as I'll be travelling more and bleach/chlorine is not as cheap. The last step was for me to test my water to determine how much salt I...

    Connection to pump broke

Final update. Confirmed the union was broken leaving part of the union in the threaded pump housing. Found a repairman to come out and fix it, as I had to e at work. Charged me $80 to tell me I would need to replace the whole pump housing for $300+. BS! Came home from work, stopped at...

    Connection to pump broke

Thanks Jim. It looks like it’s broken at the entrance to the pump. If that’s threaded, it must be broken as it easily moves. Do I turn the smaller thin ring clockwise and larger ring counter to loosen the unions?

    Connection to pump broke

Hi Team, Not sure if the 100+ heat in Texas caused this but found a leak at the joint between the pump and plumbing. As I tried to adjust the screw part of the joint the whole connection seemed to go undone. I’m trying to figure out if I can fix this or whether I should call a professional...

Basic Pool Pump and SWG Wiring

Thanks Poolbreh. I'm researching intermatic timer wiring instructions now and see line and load side labeling. I'll likely order the SWG (RJ 45 per your advice) this weekend and go for the install.

Basic Pool Pump and SWG Wiring

Sorry for a basic question, but want to get confirmation I can do this myself. Like everyone else, I'm having to switch to SWG due to scarcity of chlorine. Pool service is saying they can't get to me until mid-July and that an estimate can't be provided because prices will likely increase by...
