@jimmythegreek is there a reason for this standard. I'm trying to keep my skimmer as high as possible so my shallow end doesn't get too shallow. I'm a taller guy lol. Was hoping I could get away with two inches maybe 3.

@ImLon2 how long was your stub out for the nicheless light?

I am in the process of setting up my skimmer on my concrete block pool build. What's the minimum or suggested distance I leave between the two (top of skimmer plate and liner track) on a vinyl liner install? It's top mount track fyi.

Hey @jimmythegreek At what point can you make this transition. I was planning on using the same style niche less lights and was wondering if it's okay to run the 1 1/2 pvc back to the pool shed. Then transition it to the grey 3/4 conduit up to a deck junction box. Or is this a concern?

I haven't narrowed down the light I'm going to use just yet. But leaning towards nicheless lights. Is there a requirement for how far away the pool light junction box can be placed ? I'll have to call an electrician buddy to see what Canadian code requires. Thanks for the help this forum...

160 psi is what this pipe is rated for. At 79 cents a ft it was pretty attractive. However if the pros say sch 40. Then this is the route I will take.

I have a friend that is a farmer and has lots of 2" SDR-26 PVC available. They use it for irrigation and handles some pretty high psi. Is it too thin compared to the recommended SCH 40?
