IC-60 more and less buttons not working

Nope, just a timer that normally has no on/off trippers on it. Pump usually runs 24/7, but I’ve got it set to 8 hours right now.

Oh my god that looks awful, haha! I guess I’ll pop that top off and see if there is anything obviously wrong with those buttons. Thanks for the thread!

IC-60 more and less buttons not working

Hi everyone, I have an IC-60 that is several years old and I’ve just opened my pool and am finishing up a SLAM and I went to turn down the SWCG and it won’t turn down! Its stuck at 100% and I cannot get it to activate the “boost” mode by pressing both buttons down either! My chlorine is...

    Pentair Power Center Bonding Question

Thanks! I had already read through the bonding vs grounding article already and I believe I understand the difference. I think that is why I am/was confused, the directions in the Power Center instructions are confusing on this point. In my attached photo from the manual, item #7 is the ground...

    Pentair Power Center Bonding Question

Moved from here.. Pentair Power Center Bonding Question Sorry to revive an old post, but I’m having the same issue as the OP. It sounds to me that the conclusion to this thread was to connect the external ground to the pool bonding wire that is also connected to the pool pump... even though...

    Pentair IC60 physical installation help

The water level is actually about where the diverted valve is so I could go up some. I was thinking that I would go up some and back towards the fence. Put the swcg on the taller vertical piece and then go horizontal back towards the filter and put the feeder back in there in case I need to...

    Pentair IC60 physical installation help

The manual states that there should be 12-18” of straight pipe in front of the salt cell for a good reading on the flow sensor. The pipe comes straight out of the filter for a bit, takes a 90 degree turn then goes straight down into the ground. The section of pipe that is vertical is 16” from...

    Fiberstars 2000 pool light help

Hi everyone, I have a fiberstars 2000 pool light and it does not work and did not when I purchased the house - 12 years ago. I have not tried ever tried to fix it. Now I am interested in getting it working again. There is no bulb in it, there does not seem to be a place to plug in a bulb...

    Double pole switch before timer

Well, there’s not 😂. Bought the house 12 years ago and it wasn’t there then either. The timer box is half broken anyway. Maybe I’ll just replace it. I will probably be running the pump/swg 24/7 so it probably doesn’t matter what I get. Are any better than others?

    Double pole switch before timer

I am always a little nervous reaching into the timer box to change settings with the two 110v hookups exposed. Does anyone have a double pole switch to cut off all power to your pool setup without throwing the breakers? Mine are inside and a little trek away from my pool equipment.

Pentair superflo VS and IC60 with timer

Also, I’m a long time lurker 😂 I have been using TF-100 test kit and liquid chlorine since before I joined in 2017! Thanks for the welcome though this was my first post!

Pentair superflo VS and IC60 with timer

Makes sense about the amount of chlorine generated being the life cycle! I think 24 hours a day at low chlorine generation. Thanks!

Pentair superflo VS and IC60 with timer

Great info! That was what I was leaning towards. I almost always run my pump at 2200 for 6 - 8 hours then the rest of the 24 hours at 1200-1500 rpm. My pool is 28000 gallons that’s why I was leaning towards the ic60. Do you think the ic40 would work still?
