    Yellow Out chlorine question

Based on reading about what mustard algae was on the forum it seemed to indicate it was. The pool water itself was clear and it was appearing in shaded areas and wasn't responding to elevated chlorine.

    Yellow Out chlorine question

I guess my question is more (for those familiar with Yellow Out) should I be adding more shock during the process if it bottoms out due to the increased chlorine demand between the steps or wait until tomorrow to add more per the instructions? Overnight the Yellow Out took out the majority of...

    Yellow Out chlorine question

Ammonium Sulfate. Yellow Out® - Natural Chemistry As I understand it, it turns your chlorine into chloramine which is very effective against mustard algae, but it uses up all your chlorine which is why they have this process where you shock multiple times over 36 hours.

    Yellow Out chlorine question

Mustard algae cropped up in my pool and I was having trouble getting rid of it with higher shocking and brushing so I tried Yellow Out from Natural Chemistry. SuperFlo VS + GL-235 Solar controller?

I just had the SuperFlo variable speed installed with communication cable and I had an existing GL-235 (Aquastar II) controller controlling the solar valves. The installer and I couldn't figure out where to hookup the communication cable to the GL-235 to tell the pump to engage higher speed when...

Pentair superflo vs to Goldline gl235

Just coming across this now and in the same situation. The booster pump connections are high voltage though isn't the SuperFlo communication cable for low voltage for sending the signal?

Solar controllers compatible with variable speed pumps?

Hi there, Currently I currently have a 1.65HP single speed WhisperFlo pump plumbed in with an electronic diverter valve controlled by an AquaStar II solar controller. It diverts water to the solar collector panels on the roof when it makes sense to based on my desired heat settings and roof...
