    Hayward 4 wheel Stuck on Paramount SDX drain cover

    I have a 4 wheel Hayward and it gets stuck on my Paramount SDX drain cover. I can’t find any bumpers or clips made specifically for this cover. Other than switching out the cover does anybody have any other ideas?

    What type of skimmer float valve would fit this skimmer?

    Thanks for that. The assembly I tried to install looks the exact same as yours but that thingy won’t let it lay flat for suction. It’s about 1.5 inches thick and seems to be on there solidly. Doesn’t move at all

    What type of skimmer float valve would fit this skimmer?

    I bought the Hayward SP1070FV Float Valve Assembly and it wouldn’t fit due to this piece in the skimmer. Any ideas on what type of float valve would fit?
