Wow...these responses are eye opening. Since I am currently plumbed for DE (to the sewer etc as mentioned above), does that complicate the install of a cartridge filter? Also, I use I aqualink.....so do i need to stay with Jandy (assuming they make a cartridge option)? Maybe dumb questions...

Yes, working on that now...added acid about 2 hours ago to get pH to 7.0 and start the process. I was just wondering if the ozone generator was a contributing factor and whether anyone had disconnected one and seen results in making pH rise less of an issue.

CYA and pH test are tough for me....the dot kid of disappears and I've been doing it long enough that I think I'm consistent...with a lot of rain mine has dropped more this year than normal as well. On the pH test, i pretty consistently think the red doesn't match ANY of them! lol
