Filter pump keeps turning off! Intellicenter and IntelliFlo. Help!

So an update: I ended up resetting the panel to factory defaults. Somehow I missed the part of the system where you can save the settings and configurations, so I spent the past couple of hours in the 105 heat figuring out how to, and successfully reprogramming the unit. So far so good, the...

Filter pump keeps turning off! Intellicenter and IntelliFlo. Help!

Good Day to All, I have a relatively new installiation, but not so new that it's under warranty, I'm afraid. Everything was installed in May 2019. I have an Intellicenter, professionally installed with a IntelliFlow VSF filter pump and another Pentair pump for the waterfall. Recently I noticed...

    Fire pits and pools

I built this myself, plumbed and everything. Probably cost $500 including a fancy burner. I love it, but my wife wishes it did marshmallows better- s’mores just aren’t the same with a gas. I’d be happy to share what parts I bought if you’re interested. Took maybe 4 hours.

    Plaster problems?

My contractor is telling me he needs to acid wash mine to get it rid of some staining. How did yours look after the acid wash?

    Water color

I have white plaster with blue quartz and sparkle quartz. The sparkle quartz is extremely subtle compared to the blue. My water looks very tropical imho.

    Pentair IntelliCenter Review and Information

That’s a great suggestion, and I have seen issues, particularly with Sonos, where devices on different frequencies don’t play well together. I don’t believe this applies to the IntelliCenter, as the app allows you to control it from anywhere over the Internet.

    Pentair IntelliCenter Review and Information

All very good advice, and I’ll start the process of troubleshooting when I get home, I’m out of town at the moment. One other piece of information is that when I test the Internet connection from the panel, it comes back with a very good 20 ms response time and says that it’s connected. It seems...

    Pentair IntelliCenter Review and Information

Not trying to change the subject, and maybe this question deserves it's own thread, but has anyone had issues with the Intellicenter app responding reliably? I have the Intellicenter connected to my network via the wireless POE antenna provided. I am using manually assigned DHCP and a static...

    Wifi at pool area

Ubiquiti Unifi access points are the way to go... such a robust system. It'll cost a bit to get setup, but once it's up and running you'll never give your wifi another thought. It just works.

Pool finished and filled, quality issues?

So my builder finished my pool, fortunately I haven’t made the final payment yet... Since this is my first pool, I don’t know what’s considered normal workmanship but a few things don’t seem right. I noticed that there are at least 25 tiles that are chipped along the top edge, near the cover...

    Audio planning

This. My Way, with the multi channel apps, it’s probably cheaper, but I’m biased because I enjoy tinkering and setting things up. Jimim is spot on for keeping things simple.

    Audio planning

My recommendation is that you buy the Sonos:Connect, one per zone that you’d like. Then look on EBay for a decent used multichannel amp. Yes there is some risk involved with used gear, but the savings are worth it in my opinion. You’ll pay like 20¢ on the dollar vs new. Look for solid brands...

    Audio planning

Sounds like you want to stream music, in my opinion, Sonos is worth looking at. You could add the “in ceiling” or “wall mount” speakers along with a multi channel amp and a Sonos Connect and simplify the convenience of your streaming. My bet is you’d be far ahead cost wise as well.

    Audio planning

Correct. But most folks don’t bother to build an enclosure for them, and it’s difficult to build an enclosure that matches the sonic characteristics of the speaker and fits in the ceiling cavity. So using the word “always” was a little strong, but most folks who have in ceiling speakers just...

    Audio planning

In-ceiling speakers are always going to be a compromise, and in my opinion are nearly always inferior to quality stand alone speakers. Stick with the Polk atriums mentioned here or go with Definitive Technology AW-6500’s. They can be mounted in the eves and are vastly better then in-ceiling...
