    Liner wrinkle- how to fix

I guess my real question is, will draining the pool to flatten the liner create additional issues? What should I be on the lookout for?

    Liner wrinkle- how to fix

My semi- above ground, steel-walled 15x30 liner developed a floor wrinkle after having a full load of children. The wrinkle runs about 10' and raises up a good half inch. What options do I have? The liner is just over a year old, so it should be flexible. I've tried using a plunger with no...

    Back from vacation, high chlorine

Going forward, what should I have done differently? My thinking was that the small plume i was correcting would eat some of the extra, bringing it under SLAM levels and the pucks would maintain until i got home two weeks later. Before leaving, I was adding 130+ oz of 10% daily (3 days) to...

I might have overdone it. But it sure is clear:LOL:

    Back from vacation, high chlorine

I think I had 6 in there. When I pulled the floater I had about ¼ of 1 left. I never tested before leaving. I was having a small algae battle and was following SLAM when I left and then tossed in a gallon when I went out the door.

    Back from vacation, high chlorine

Before leaving on vacation, I dosed my pool to around 20ppm FC (I thought), placed pucks in the floater and covered with winter cover. Just got back to a clear pool with the following test results. FC-40 (may be more, never really went fully clear) CC-0 TA-70 CH-150 PH-7.2 CYA-40 the CH...

    What is causing this sound?

Thank you. I am talking with my installer to get it replaced. I really wasn't expecting it to be bearings already.

    What is causing this sound?

Pump making awful noise, what could it be and how do I resolve it. The pump is new, installed this spring so I wouldn't think it's the bearings.

    Any structural engineers?

Thanks guys. Those were my thoughts as well. I can't believe they opted for a pillar. Guess I will tackle this one when there bank account fills up again.

    Any structural engineers?

First off, I hope this is in right area, please move if not. Pool and patio were just installed this month, now I'm looking into options for the circled pillar. I would love to remove it, but just don't know if it is load bearing. Any ideas by looking at these photos?

    Need a little reassurance

Well, I raised my FC to 7 last night. CC read 0 and aced the OCLT with no chlorine loss. And guess what? Those pesky were still hanging out having a grand time. I'll keep the FC up for a little longer and see what happens.

    Need a little reassurance

Thanks. Weather will delay the OCLT for a few days but I will get on it soon. In general, should I be concerned about a couple backswimmers? Are a small number inevitable or should they leave immediately?

    Need a little reassurance

I'm back in the pool game again. Had an Intex for a couple of years. Took a break and now I'm back, this time with a more professional build (in sig). Pools been running for a week. Started out a little cloudy and off color, but one day of filter running and it cleared right up. Could that just...
