So.. a little follow up.. 3 days into this experiment... The water is amazing! Its nearly Olympic pool clear.. I went "dippin" last night and the water was so clear in the moon light I could see across all 40' of the pool underwater... I plan to pull the filter out sunday and go back to my std...

With respect to Knee Highs.. I was in the pool store the other day and they're selling "Micro filter Covers" for skim baskets fro 10 bucks.. I told the guy I use panty hose for the same purpose.. but I get 6 for 5 bucks.. he was not happy I never have seen the knee hig remove this much stuff...

I was just at the pool store to buy some chemicals.. and mentioned I was using Clorox to provide chlorine. He mentioned that I should buy their liquid chlorine product because it had fewer "dissolved Solids" I'd like to hear from you folks.. Thanks in advance! Aaron

Excellent... I had the thing out and as looking at it.. and all I saw was a std (abet 200 watt) light bulb... And I just could not bring myself to buy a $200 bulb for the fountain.. Did I mention that there are 3 of these lights... Sometimes we get locked into what is and we stop THINKING...
