So.. a little follow up.. 3 days into this experiment... The water is amazing! Its nearly Olympic pool clear.. I went "dippin" last night and the water was so clear in the moon light I could see across all 40' of the pool underwater... I plan to pull the filter out sunday and go back to my std...

Excellent... I had the thing out and as looking at it.. and all I saw was a std (abet 200 watt) light bulb... And I just could not bring myself to buy a $200 bulb for the fountain.. Did I mention that there are 3 of these lights... Sometimes we get locked into what is and we stop THINKING...

Sorry.. as a diver.. I've dived commercially and recreationally.. its kinda lame.. That being said.. it is a very nice pool. Our pool is only 9ft at its deepest end.. and I'd love to have a pool thats 20ft deep.. but this pool... is just a pool with a deep end. There is nothing like rolling...

I understand what they do... but if your test using the OTO then do a further test using FAS/DPD shouldn't the values match? I'm using the TF 100 (test in the blue box) to test pH and chlorine daily and then once a week I'm doing the full battery of test TA CH etc.... Should not the results...

As I said I was reporting from memory... obviously a bad memory.. I'll post actual values this weekend.. Sorry for the confusion... and misdirection
