So in your opinion, safe to use the cleaner in levels of 10-15?

So if my cya is 40-50, what level would be safe to not damage the cleaner? My shock level is 16-20 ppm and would take awhile to come down to what the cleaner mfg. says is safe

I know my Dolphin manual states 4 ppm max. Does anyone actually follow this? Seems rather low?
