    Filter PSI

I’m 19 PSI at 3000 RPM and 24 PSI at 3445 RPM. So I’ll wait until I get to 30 PSI at 3445 RPM. Thanks!

    Filter PSI

Hi everyone. I have an Intelliflo 2 VST pump with a Hayward C5030 filter. My pool service just cleaned the filters The pump is currently running at 1500 RPM. According to my inline gauge, the flow rate is 30 GPM. And my filter gauge is showing 6 PSI. Is 6 PSI reasonable? Or does it...

My 5000 lasts a year. if I get a 7030, might I be able to go to once every 2 years? Or is that problematic?

    Hayward C5030 vs C7030

I'm replacing an old Hayward C5000. I'm considering either the C5030 or the C7030. On the Wiki, TFP says "You should get the largest filter you can afford and that will fit onto your equipment pad. " But a couple of local vendors told me that for our size of pool (around 25k gallons), the...

    Repair or replace pool filter

Hi everyone. I recently hired a new pool service. They took a look at my equipment and advised that I need new filter cartridges, a replacement manifold and a new air tube. They think I am better off buying a whole new unit instead of doing the repair work. I’m not sure of my model number, but...

    Aquabright on spa seats

Why not just have the tile sit a bit higher than the plaster/aquabright so that the epoxy doesn't pool over to the tile? Would that solve the issue?

    Aquabright on spa seats

I'm not completely understanding the issue. But I know you're an installer, so I trust your perspective. But what if, instead of just tiling a border, we were to tile an entire seat? Would we still have an issue where it meets the Aquabright?

    Aquabright on spa seats

What do you mean when you say "don't play all that nicely"? Are you talking about seat tile, waterline tile, or both?

    Aquabright on spa seats

Hi everyone! I was originally planning to do plaster for a new pool build, with tiles on the spa seats, since my PB recommended that sitting on tile is a lot nicer than sitting on plaster. I'm now thinking about upgrading to Aquabright. For folks who have experienced Aquabright -- is it worth...

Waterfall mode vs Spa Fill mode

Hi all- I recently purchased a house that has a pool and spa in the back yard. There's a waterfall feature between the spa and the pool. There's an Aqualink control panel with a bunch of buttons. One of the buttons is "Waterfall" and another is "Spa Fill". Waterfall activates the main...
