New seals, still leaking at motor!

Thanks for the reply. I actually took it apart to see what was going on and I found the issue. The spring seal plastic piece was cracked. Either I did that or it came that way. I had the old one and put that on. I also cleaned the ceramic with a rag and so far so good. No water Now any idea...

New seals, still leaking at motor!

I have a sta-rite dyna-glas. I ordered the go-kit47. I most definitely didn’t use a rag and used my fingers to push that seal in ?. Did I ruin it or is there a way for me to recover from it? I also put magic lube on the rubber part of the seals.

New Pump, Air in System, Bubbles Coming Out of Returns, I Can't Figure it Out

For whats it worth... i am having a similar problem and it seems to be the seals in the motor pulling in some air. I can see the air in the pump basket. My pump was seized when i opened and I took it apart to free it up and when I put it back together this is happening. I am guessing one of...

What kind of union is this?

Ah, thank you all. Should have known it wasn’t standard plumbing stock. Good to know moving forward as one of the unions is cracked and I want to replace it in the spring. Thanks

What kind of union is this?

I was closing the pool today and decided to make nice fittings for my cyclone. On the returns I was simply going to take the coupling off and attach my cyclone. Got myself all the adapters and union from Home Depot (2” pvc) but low and behold that union from Home Depot just didn’t work. 1 1/2 is...
