Raypak 8450 Heat Pump - H2O Sensor Fail

The error message is: "H2O Sensor Fail". I have replaced this sensor 3x in the past month, and get this failure intermittently. It will show, then half a day later the heater will run, then it will show and the unit will stop. I've also intermittently heard odd noises when the compressor comes...

I never did, still a continued problem for me.

Raypak 8450 Heat Pump - H2O Sensor Fail

Hey all. When my pool was opened up about a month ago, my Raypak 8450 heat pump was showing an H2O sensor fail message, but a few days later started running again for a week or so, then stopped. I replaced the temp sensor, and it proceeded to run for about 4 days, then stopped and I get the...

Intellicenter + Gas Heater + Heat Pump

Hey all, I had a question regarding having both a gas heater and heat pump connected to the Intellicenter. I have my Raypak 406A gas heater connected to the fireman's switch. I also have a Raypak 8450 heat pump that I cannot figure out how to control via Intellicenter. Someone told me you can...

Brand new Dolphin Robot Stopping Constantly

Wow. Well thank you. Sure can't say this has been a great experience so far.

Brand new Dolphin Robot Stopping Constantly

Really? The robot or the power supply? Or both?

Brand new Dolphin Robot Stopping Constantly

Hi All, On the advice of many here, when my barely 3 year old Polaris Quattro Sport broke yet again this month, I called up Marina pools and ordered a new robotic Dolphin unit, specifically the M600. So far, it's really been a bad showing. Power supply booted up, got the app installed, linked...

Polaris Quattro Sport always going to deep end

I really haven't been able to find this exact issue in my searches, apologize if it is out there, but I'm having issues with a 2 year old Polaris Quattro Sport. The past month or so it constantly wants to drive to the deep end, and won't drive out of the deep end. That is the furthest point...

    IntelliFloXF Flow Issues

The pressure on the filter doesn’t change when flow changes. I actually have not loaded any DE material since opening the pool a week and a half ago, and believe it’s all cleared off the filters. I will do some more testing to see if air is coming from drain or skimmers.

    IntelliFloXF Flow Issues

Yea I didn’t think it should cause that much issue. Ugh. Question - at full speed my pump basket completely fills with water. And after some run time, the flow rate will increase - when I first turn it on I see about 62 gpm and a few hours later will see 70-73. At lower speeds, like 2000...

    IntelliFloXF Flow Issues

It’s a 2” pipe, only part of the main floor that is that small - I replumbed the filter outlet side to 3” last fall. I think it looks small because everything else is 3”. I’ll just go ahead and replumb it. The valve I guess was installed by plumbers to have a filter bypass but was never really...

    IntelliFloXF Flow Issues

Swapped gauges on filter. New one reads maybe 1-2 psi higher. So, small discrepancy there. I feel like I’ve checked everything…

    IntelliFloXF Flow Issues

Well, I took that section of pipe out from the unions and scoped. It’s perfectly clear. Took apart the new pump and the impeller is completely clear, although I see a little damage to a black housing in the wet end of the pump. Next I’ll swap the filter gauges to double check that pressure...

    IntelliFloXF Flow Issues

Thank you. Have been doing similar analysis and came to the same conclusion. I am utterly stumped. It is just a single pipe and dumb valve between the pump and filter. I am at a loss.

    IntelliFloXF Flow Issues

Ok, so I hooked up a vacuum/pressure gauge to the two drain ports on the filter pump. In the furtherest forward port, near the suction entrance, I read -4 inHg. In the next port, I am actually off the scale of the gauge I had, but it seems to confirm the 39 psi that the pump controller reports...
