Just drained and refilled - what now?

awesome, thanks for all the help. Just tested the water and these are my results. Just added 96 oz of 12.5 liquid chlorine, going to add some muriatic acid in a bit to lower pH. What should i do about the CYA? FC 0.5 CC 1.5 pH 8.4 TA 70 CH 100 CYA 10 (best guess as it went beyond the 20 mark...

Just drained and refilled - what now?

just checked the temp about 6 inches from the top and it's 69.6 this cool morning. I started filling it up Saturday afternoon and it was about 90 here yesterday. should i put some liquid chlorine now? If so, how much? I think it should be completely full in about 4 hours.

Just drained and refilled - what now?

I haven't added chlorine as the pool isn't full yet so i do not have the pump running. Should i add some regardless?

Tips of draining and re-filling my pool.

Tips of draining and re-filling my pool.

Yes I did. I messaged a company out here that does that and they responded with an automated message saying it would be minimum $1300. My pool is about 99 LF so that price is ridiculous.

Tips of draining and re-filling my pool.

My CYA and CH are insanely high so I'll be doing a draining and re-filling of my pool. I'm going to take advantage and scrub all the waterline tile as there is a lot of scaling. I bought De-scale it and a pumice stone and then finish it off with a good power wash. Going to take apart the DE...

Hi from Austin - looking for PB recommendations

We have decided to build a pool/spa and covered patio at our house in NE Austin. We are currently talking with Denali Pools, Texas Pools & Patios, KB Custom Pools, and California Pools. I called Athena earlier today and waiting to hear back. Are there any other PB companies you would recommend...
