Is a SWG switch worth it?

You should always get a larger unit than you need. I have an RJ-45 that I use with a 24 foot round (13,500 gallons) and could have technically been okay with an RJ-30. However, I ran it at about 65% all summer last year (I live in Texas, South of Fort Worth). Now I am not sure the RJ-30 would...

    dolphin E10 winds around ladder/stairs

I have a Dolphin E10, that I use in a 24 foot Aurora salt water Above Ground Pool. I have a ladder that is open on the back. The Dolphin E10 is good cleaner, as long as you have the basket that collects fine particles/silt. However, it constantly wraps itself around the ladder. Does anyone have...

    Circupool RJ-45 Plus Install

Just go to home depot and buy a 120 end to wire on the end of the cable that comes out of the controller. I had to install a jumper in the control unit of my RJ-45 to make it 120 instead of 240. You probably read about that already earlier in this thread.

new build pump and filter question

Here is the option I went with. I am pretty happy so far. I leave it on low speed 24/7 except when vacuuming. --> Hayward Pumps

    Soft bottom vacuum?

I bought one of these tonight, I hope it was a good decision. I have a lot of fine silt, or dead algae that constantly settles, I hope this will pick that up. I bought the ultra fine filter basked to go with it. let me know how yours does with fine silt and dead algae. my old aquabot...

    Soft bottom vacuum?

Do you guys have the ultra fine filter? does it get the fine silt? Or does the silt still settle a couple hours after the Dolphin is finished? Do you still have to vacuum all the silt up?

2 speed pump for 24' ABG pool? Edit - Also connecting 2" pipe to new pump see post 22

So, I am running new piping, down the pool, underground about 20 feet to behind my shed where I am putting the filter, pump, and SWCG. I was going to run 2" Pipe. The Hayward 1.5 HP 2 spd Pump I purchased has 1.5 inch interior threads. However it also has exterior threads. Are those exterior...

EDIT - Pool Bonding Question - See Comment # 6

So... I need to run an 8 gauge bare copper wire all the way around my pool, bury it 6 inches. Then I need to run a wire from my SWCG unit, to the Hayward pump, and then to the loop. then from a skimmer metal piec down to the loop. Wow..... I never did any of this to my last pool. I have also...

EDIT - Pool Bonding Question - See Comment # 6

I installed the jumpers, should be ready to go. When I was reading the install manual it mentioned that "when using a VS or multi spd pump on low speed setting, or for general circumstances where flow is less than adequate, the cell must be inverted in order to ensure adequate flow and...

EDIT - Pool Bonding Question - See Comment # 6

I have had a 24' round ABG since 2008, and I never had it bonded? Should I have? The reason it is coming to question is that I am replacing that pool now, and installing an SWCG and new 24' ABG (sunk half way in the ground). When reading about the install of the SWCG, it talks about having to...
