Ok...update: I have had luck using teflon tape. I bought the extra thick type (a pink color), and used a lot to wrap around 9 or 10 times. The eyeball threads seem to grip a lot better and stays on tighter.

I’m having the same issue on my return eyeball. In my case, newer replacement eyeballs (Hayward threaded, etc), don’t seem to have quite as deep threads on them. Im going to try teflon tape first, and possibly a seal compound next. Ill let you know how it goes. Any other ideas are greatly...

So I purchased a S.R. Smith Frontier 10 foot diving board at the beginning of the season this year. Got everything installed OK on my U Frames, the kids love it, it works great, looks great, etc. My only problem is that the fulcrum I ordered never seems to stay seated in the right position...

Thanks! Yeah, very much like clay. Pretty easy to work with. This stuff will come in handy for sure. I had called Leslie's this morning and they had it in stock, so we were thinking the same there. About $4 more than Amazon, but I didn't have to wait. Here is a pic of the end result...
