So are the crystals like glass beads? Honestly I would spend the $750 if I was you. It looks so amazing. My pool has almost no features like waterfalls or a spa but I am happy I got those glass beads.

There is NOTHING we cannot overcome with something. aeration=PH going up= using muratic acid to bring it back down. I would just make sure you can turn off each one as needed/wanted.
I think the stone on the columns and fire pit with tile on the spa will work great!! Just think of this..............with the pretty tile being on the spa it will become an "accent" of the pool.

I agree with Kim on the stone and tile. That will definitely make the spa pop! I don't know enough either about the chem part of it, so just go with what Kim says!![]()
Darn. An error message shows up that the owner of the site doesn't allow hot linking to that file.
It worked! Now to pick a favorite...
I think I like the Topaz best too. The blue is right in the middle and so pretty.
Need opinions on the spa....
They only do 3 spillways or one 12" spillway. Will the aeration from the spa spillway as well as the bubblers and the fire/water bowls be too much aeration to keep my chemicals in balance. The chemical stuff is still confusing. Haven't studied it enough yet.
Also, will it look bad if I have stacked stone on the columns and the fire pit but have tile on the spa? I hope to get similar colors. I have to make some cuts to stay in budget :/
Thank you for the input!
First of all, I vote for the Topaz. That's gorgeous!!!
I don't believe my spa, bubblers, and sheer descents have been a problem with the pH. I do have to add MA occasionally, but I'm guessing that's more an issue of the new plaster. The bubblers and sheer descents aren't on all that much. I enjoy them if I'm in the pool by myself, but I don't always put them on. They are loud which is ok with just me, but there are also times I prefer the quiet to hear the birds and the wind in the trees. When friends come over, they really get a kick out of the water features. They don't seem to notice the noise level. Now with the cold pool water, none of that is an issue! Lol! Brrrrrr.
I think it will look awesome to use stacked stone on some areas and tile on others. That's what I did. I like how it gives a different look of texture. Since I'm more of a water bug than a design bug, I find many of those decisions I struggled with during the build don't matter as much to me now. I just want to be IN the water!!!
I do love the spa! I hesitated on it, but I'm so glad we were able to get one. The other day was a gorgeous crystal clear blue sky kind of day. The air temp was in the 70's, but the water was in the 60's. So I heated up the spa, put in a hammock float and floated in the spa and did some sunning on the float. That warm water felt so good, and the sun was wonderful. I almost felt like it was summer again. On the colder days, I don't think it would be as much fun, but the spa does stretch out my season a bit more.
Good luck on your surgeries! I'm so glad you're able to get your eyes taken care of. That driving in the dark to and from work is scary. I'll be thinking of you!!!
Suz.
Thanks for letting me help spend your money LOL!
