Re-Plumb salt water generator

How is the existing system controlled? What type of a timer or device switches the existing SWG on and off?
Jandy vs-fhp2.0 pump, Jandy JEP-R Timer and the timer appears wired directly to the pump with the low gauge wiring and the salt controller with the big conduit to the pump separately. Nothing appears connected from salt cell control box to timer.

Picture is of the connection from timer to pump and salt cell to pump

New salt cell only provided 4’ of electrical cord. That’s the other end of the conduit coming from the pump to the old controller.
Cut the wires of the old wiring connect them with a button connector heat shrink to the new wiring and I shouldn’t have to worry about wiring the pump?

@ajw22
Does the JEP-R timer for the VS pump also control the Aqua Pure SWG?

Okay I’m misunderstanding the conduit from the aqua pure controller of the salt cell does connect directly to the pump in the back.

I thought you were talking about the physical salt cell not the controller. I’m sorry I’m new to the terminology

I understand. I'm not familiar with the Jandy system. I'd like to get Allen's input. He's East Coast still he'll probably respond in the morning.
Okay that’s fine I won’t be doing this until 5:30pm tomorrow anyhow but I’ll be active until then.
I really you guys helping me and confirming everything before I make a mistake. Thank you to everyone helping

No.

JEP-R is a VS controller, not a timer.

Show me where there is a connection between Aquapure and JEP-R?
the JEP-R is where I program when it turns on and for how long at what rpm etc, but there is no connection to the JEP-R other than to the Pump itself.

the JEP-R doesn't appear to be an issue at all, I'm wondering if the wiring from the pump to the CircuPool control module can be cut at the Aquapure connection and have a butt connect from those wires to the provided wires from the new CircuPool?

The devil is in the details as to where and how you will create the high voltage connections.

Sorry, the Auqapure is already connected to the VS Pump, the CircuPool didnt come with near enough wiring so I thought what if I keep the connection that's already on the VS Pump as is and cut the connection from the old AquaPure side, butt connected it to the provided CircuPool wiring? just wanted to confirm that was fine

Confirm what is fine?

What type of weatherproof connections will be used in what junction box?

Show us pictures of what you want your connect and how?

okay so what do you recommend because the CircuPool came with 4' of wiring I need at least 12'
is it possible to open up the CircuPool and wire in the old wires directly to the CircuPool therefore not having any splices?
You should be able to.

Open it up and take a look at how the supplied wires are connected
