Helping someone out after a death in the family, just trying to get a grasp of what they have so I can point them to appropriate resources for help. This thing is an antique, but what is it? And is the housing fiberglass or actual metal? She did say it has what appears to be surface rust so guessing metal, unless it’s just rust staining from the fittings/clamp/etc.

Thanks. Not sure what I’ll do with that info but I wanted to know haha. The pool in question is 1000 miles away but I’ll be there this weekend; believe she said it also has a pinhole leak (not at a joint/fitting) so it will likely need replaced I’m sure, just trying to educate myself a bit to see if I can help the homeowner learn a little bit about it to at least get her through this summer and decide next steps.
