Budget Pump Recommendation

I noticed over the last year or so that the my pool circulation has decreased to the point that I can no longer use the suction vacuum as it doesn't pick much up. For context, my 10,000 gallon fiberglass pool is ~27 years old and my 1.0hp Jandy pump also looks pretty old based on rust/flaking. We moved into the house ~6 years ago and immediately found several issues with the pool such as a leak in the skimmer basket, a cracked jet which was also leaking, and a leaking filter.

I've been using marine epoxy on the leaks which has helped as the alternative is a very expensive repair given the concrete will need to be broken up and replaced. I also had our pool company replace the filter (they said the previosu one was undersized).

To help address the circulation issue and given the apparent age of the existing pump, my thought was to replace it with a variable speed pump. The current setup is wired for 230v so no concerns there. I'm overwhelmed by the number of options in the "budget" category such as Calimar, Blue Torrent, Chlorworks, Circupool, B&D, Aquastrong, etc. The reason I'm not investing in a more expensive pump is that I think it's likely we will be doing some significant renovations to the pool area in the next 3-5 years which ranged from removing the existing pool or replacing it with a new pool. Therefore, I'm looking for something that will get me through the next few years.

Any recommendations would be appreciated!

I go by cost. The better warranty ones can be double the price. Thats a sucker bet IMO because you could buy a 2nd Calimar if need be and you likely wouldn't need to in the short warranty period. (Compared to how long most pumps last).
