I don't have the 2, but I have the Aquasense Pro first gen. Someone else pointed out here that Multizone Mode (beta) seems to work the best - unfortunately you can't do floor only in that mode so you have to do , floor, walls and water line but it does get the floor very well in that mode.

In floor only, it'll miss the same spot continuously - even in custom mode running it on Floor X2 which is about 230-240 mins on mine.

There is an interesting review on youtube from "The Hook Up" that maps out coverage results from a number of cleaners. What was interesting was that in his review he saw better results from the robots that just cleaned based on patterns rather than any of the advanced mapping technologies. His results showed 75% floor coverage on the Aquasense and 40% pool wall coverage. I think he was testing Aquasense not Aquasense 2 but the results seem pretty comparable to your results. Overall he found the best coverage from the Aiper S1 (not Pro).

Seems I bought the worst robot possible I tried it in multizone mode and in "standard" mode (both of which seem to be floors, walls, waterline but slightly different variations). In those modes, they ran for closer to 3 hours, with somewhat less than half of the time on the floor. They did seem to clean better - even the floor - strangely enough, given that floor mode alway results in 150 minutes cleaning time, all supposedly on the floor. Watching it for brief periods here and there, the floor mode seems to concentrate on the edges for a long time with the robot going slightly up the wall and then back down but spending a good amount of time hopping along sideways with only one track against the wall so not sucking anything up during those times. I'm still undecided. Now that my pool is fully open and the floor (after alot of brushing and having run the beatbot another dozen times in floor mode before trying the other modes) is clean, it's harder for me to tell where the robot is missing. After watching that review video, maybe I'll trade for the S1 ....

I'm kind of curious if the "mapping" equipped robots might improve over time as they "learn" your pool. Maybe you'll have better luck with the BeatBox over time? At any rate, if you do decide to go to the S1, be sure to get the 2025 version, it has been upgraded to the ultra-fine filter.

Haven't seen any improvements in mine over time.

FYI, I purchased the Scuba X1, and it hasn't achieved anywhere close to full coverage on a "smart clean" run yet. I've started a new thread on the X1 with my results.
