Wife and I just bought a house with a pool in Chandler Arizona, I intend to maintain the pool myself and have learned quite a bit from various sources. I figure at least 20% of it is correct! Weather is getting warm here so let the show begin.
Its really kind of you to give them that much credit. I like you already.I figure at least 20% of it is correct
The PoolMath app has a function that lets you work out the relative cost for LIquid Chlorine based on the volume and concentration - might be worth a look...that 10% might be cheaper than the 12% you can get online+shipped...The previous homeowner was using chlorine tabs and the CYA was crazy high. I drained and refilled the pool and have added CYA and chlorine since. I plan to manage the pool with liquid chlorine but all I can find around Chandler AZ is 10%. I have read 12.5 is preferred. There are some on-line stores that sell it. Or should I forget it and just use a little bit more of the 10% stuff?
Same here. I figure I will learn the proper ratio as I go.You'll find 12.5 at pool stores, generally. It's a bit more. The store by me is $9.99 per gallon of 12.5. I go to Wally World and pay $5.64 or so for 10%.
