So I found a free Carvin Saniclear 40 SWG on Facebook Market place. From what I can see it looks like a Canadian rebadged basic Hayward unit. After ordering a flow switch and giving the cell a quick clean (looked pretty clean already but figured it wouldnt hurt) I made up a 3000 ppm solution of saltwater, plugged it in and clicked in the flow switch. Turns on and runs, YAY!
So here is my actual question, is there a big benefit in wiring it in as 230V vs 110V? it will be on a 14k gallon vinyl inground pool in the midwest.
