Anyone using this filter. I was about to order a Hayward C4030, but this filter looks pretty easy to clean. Might be too small for my pool and not sure how it will hold up. Also not a whole lot of reviews for it. Thx

I have one in the box in my garage, waiting for my resurface to finish. (Let the old DE filter catch the plaster dust!!) So I'm hoping it's a good filter. For me, I have a very small equipment pad size, so the smaller footprint will be nice.

I also have a pentair Intelliflo in the box. (Was an expensive trip to the pool shop).

Now all I have to do is figure out how to replumb. The pump inlet height is different, that's likely to cause grief.

I am redoing my equipment also. I do have the room for a larger filter, I just liked how easy it looked to clean the Aquastar. I like the Pentair pumps, but didn’t like the 60 day warranty for self install. Looking at the Hayward Tristar variable pump

Nidec Neptune NPTQ225 motor installed will eliminate the need to re-plumb.

That may come back to haunt you when it requires more frequent cleanings per season for the next 20 years.

Sometimes a minor inconvenience is worth it in the long run. Food for thought. :)

The larger the hole in the ground, the larger the crud vacuum is when the wind blows this way today, and that way later today. All 4 corners of your backyard will blow towards and in the pool at some point. Lol.
