Leaking cell cover

I have a Jandy TruClear chlorine generating system . The cell cover started leaking from the seam between the two parts that make up the cover. It was installed by a professional 15 months ago. Jandy stated that it's not covered under warranty because it's in Mexico, yet their products are sold here. Has anyone encountered this leak issue and were you able to repair it? Thanks for any insight

Unfortunately it's a common problem that you can't fix.

It was installed by a professional 15 months ago.

Who sold it to you ? (Same person?) Did you ask them about it ?

It would be somewhat ugly, but you could try sealing that leak with Plast-Aid. If it won't be covered under warranty, you have nothing to lose by trying. They make a 1.5oz kit that would do about 1 repair.
