Spillover draining spa

Hi yall. New pool owner here with probably a dumb question. When I turn spillover on it drains my spa rapidly. Looking in the Hayward OmniLogic app the spillover option is under my pool settings not spa. Is this correct? Everything else seems to work fine. Pool mode, spa mode, water features, etc. appreciate any help.

Thank you for that info. That’s interesting as when I turn it on the only valve that moves is the one for the suction. The spa return one doesn’t move at all. When I switch from pool to spa mode they both move.

Your SUCTION and RETURN actuators are switched and plugged into the wrong sockets.

Open up your OMNI panel. Find where the actuators are plugged in. And reverse the plugs.

Would that cause the pool and spa mode to not function properly if I switch them?
To add a little bit to Allen's explanation, pool and spa modes activate both actuators, suction/return. Spillway is supposed to only activate the return actuator. Since your spillway circuit is activating the suction actuator, this is an indicator that the valve actuators are plugged into the opposite sockets.

You can either open it up and switch the sockets they are plugged in to, or physically swap the actuators between the suction and return valves. Swapping the sockets is the much easier method of changing the operation.

Just wanted to say thank you. Switched them yesterday and everything appears to be working now. Thanks again
