Newly installed above ground pool with vinyl liner. There is water seeping out from under the wall of my pool so we are thinking there is a hole in the liner somewhere. We haven't even been in the pool yet!! We did lose quit a bit of water when we installed the skimmer 5 days ago. The water did get under the pool so we are not sure why water is still coming out from under the pool. My husband is looking at a liquid that you pour into the pool that is suppose to seal any leaks. I really don't want it in the pool for fear of it messing with my chemistry and most of all, my SWG! Has anyone ever used this or anything like it?

Unless you can get the product to flow to the leak it will just sit in the water. It is not intended for vinyl liner pools unless the leak is at a fitting.
Even when trying to seal a plumbing leak their site says that they only have a 70% success rate. It could/would clog an SWG cell as it is designed to build up in small openings, like the spaces between the cell plates.

From their website:
MISCELLANEOUS LEAKS: If you suspect a leak around fittings inside the pool (such as return fittings) lights, skimmer(s) or steps, etc. Shut down pump. Apply FIX-A-LEAK directly to the leak using a squeeze bottle, similar to a ketchup bottle. Allow a minimum of 48 hrs. to cure before starting up circulation.

Thank you!! I will not take my chances with this product.

What is the strongest under water vinyl patch? Our pool has only been up a week and already has water coming out from under the wall. Losing 1/4" of water a day! I have ordered a pair of scuba goggles and dye to try and locate it.

So we have discovered we definitely have a leak but it is impossible to find. I have searched all over the pool and I can not find it anywhere. Must be so small I can't see it. Water is coming out from under the pool wall and stays puddled there on the concrete all the time. Any suggestions besides searching with goggles and dye because this isn't working.
