IntelliCenter2 Migration to Pentair Home

When I go to migrate over to Home, is it going to cause issues by already having a profile setup under the Home app and having my pump connected there too? Should I delete my Home profile so it is created new when I migrate?

No.

Others have done the HOME app migration with an Intelliflo3 pump.

The IntelliCenter will appear as a different device then your Intelliflo3 pump in the HOME app. Just don't let it confuse you.

There may be times when you want to put the IntelliCenter in SERVICE mode or the IntelliCenter bricks on you and you want to control the Intelliflo3 directly through the HOME app.

That’s really good news. Thank you!

I have been ignoring the message to change to Pentair Home for months, even though the message says I will lose the ability to control things with the old app in 10 days. Has anyone actually lost the ability to use the old app?

I would make the switch.

Nothing is to be gained by staying on the old app.

I haven't had any issues with the Home app to be honest. Plus, I do like the new dashboard view which shows the IntelliChlor output % and the current salt level.

Well, I try to follow the adage If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Now if there is a benefit to the new site that is a different story. I haven't had any problems with the old app but I also don't know how the new one differs.
