EDIT - SKIP THIS FIRST POST - I THINK A GROUT LEAK - SEE SECOND POST.

I have been in discovery mode to find an autofill leak and finally had leak guy out. We shut off the line incoming line before it splits in two (pool and spa) and that stopped that leak. The line didn't hold pressure and there was a visible puddle near the pool equipment. He was unable to find the exact spot that day and ran out of time. It could be that it's too small and too deep for him to hear it.

Turning that off seems to have identified a spa problem in that it was dropping an inch a day and a bucket test confirmed the leak. I believe it's in the jets/bubbler system and not the filter system. My spa has 5 jets and in the image below you can see the the flow coming from them. Until I can get help with this I was going to close the entry points. They appear to be 2" Pentair (the jet directors were removed and not present when we bought the house) so maybe the interior is 1.5" which is the size I see most for plugs but it really looks more like 1.75 to me. Does that look right from the images below? The purpose of closing the five jets is merely to stop the leak which amounts to 30-40 gallons a day of 800-900 total. I understand I won't be able to use it and that's fine until I get this sorted out. This is my biggest question of the moment - any harm in doing that?

The last image is of the skimmer set up I think I have. Two drains in the spa. Trimmer plate is wide open at the moment.

I am left with a curiosity of whether I have two leaks or one related one.

What questions or insights might you all have? I am not well versed in this stuff so happy to provide images or answer questions.

Thanks in advance, Michael

I think that my issue for my leak is structural. What product do you recommend that I can find in a store today - Lowes, Home Depot, Leslies, ACE.
Should I use grout or epoxy. Looks like maybe both have been used before.

I had posted this thread but I am pretty sure now this is it as the leak has stopped with the water level below this.

Grout…

More importantly you need to figure out why those surfaces are moving causing the cracks and open joints. Otherwise the grout will crack and you will continue the repair loop that looks in progress.

Age? Maybe vibrations from the bubbler lines which come in not too far from that or what other ideas do you have?

Thanks for the replies. It turns out when I continued to inspect it I found a tile missing with deterioration of the cement behind. That hole is at least a 1/2” deep in the dark area. So I don’t think it’s grout any longer but will get that repaired as well. I am having the leak guy out on Thursday that identified our auto fill leak, but couldn’t pin point it (might be too small or too deep). He will confirm this problem when he looks for the other leak again.
