I was installing a filter on her current pool but the location tab or ring indicating water flow direction (filtering , backwash, waste, recirculate etc) is missing It’s hard to tell backwash from waste and filter from recirculate ! How can I tell which is which ? ( I don’t have a pool and was helping out a friend ) the pictures below one is the pump motor the other is a picture of the ring but there are no notches to line it up with so I was going to just mark the position but want to be correct ???
