It doesn't run at full speed.

Did you turn your ozone and UV off. Both of those are unnecessary for a pool, and the UV system will consume FC. Turn them off. Consider removing them permanently.

Do you have a flow meter on the system?

There are very few times that you want to run a pump at full speed. Turn the heater on, turn down the pump until you get NO FLo warning on the heater. Add 300rpm and run it there for now.

I can't find a manual on the Ozone/UV system anywhere. Did they give you a manual...might look in there for on/off instructions. Might look at the system, the on off button may be obvious. If it is plugged in, just unplug it.

Do I test tonight like 3 hrs later (i may be a sleep lol) or can I do it in the am???

Do what you can, morning is fine. Test and add, then check 2-3 hours later. No need to test after the addition, just assume it got you to SLAM level.

No more often than every two hours is necessary/helpful. 2-4 hours between test/additions is fine. Every 2 hours just makes the whole process shorter/quicker.

Okay my test this morning is 29.5 for FC
So just maintain this correct?
I ll test again at lunch in like 3 or so hours

Days to weeks. Depends on how diligent you are in following the SLAM Process
