Dead Wybot - No Support Reply

I have been in email communication with them for almost a week now. They keep asking me the same qu3stions and want videos and stuff. The stuff they tell me to try doens’t apply.

The wybot i have is cordless. It t turns on, is charged and when i drop in the water, it bubbles and then the lights go out and it sits there. Anyone have one of these and had this issue or know how to fix the POS? It’s NEW from last season. Used like one month!
 
They have TOTALLY ghosted me. Will not return ANY email. I only had the bought one pool season - $700+ and it’s dead. They will NOT help. I posted a message on Amazon too. No response.

The bot is charged. It goes in the water. Blows bubbles and then just turns off and sits in the water. No idea how to fix it.

I just got mine less that 24 hours ago now. Worked great yesterday and today it is doing the exact same thing yours is.

I just wanted to chime in about lack of support.
I have sent 7 emails and 3 tickets through their app and web site over the last 2 weeks and not one reply.
I sent them new email telling them I need to initiate a return and if they choose to not respond in a timely manner, I will start dispute process with Paypal.
I will probably wait until early next week and then call the phone number though before I actually contact Paypal
It's really a shame. I mean I don't even get automated responders or anything.

You didn’t mention connecting to it via the app to setup the vacuum patterns and schedule. Have you already done that?

Just curious if the WiFi and Bluetooth are working with the app.

it works. I got the new bot but have not heard about sending back the replacement as of yet
 
I called Wybot today as I had sent them a request about warranty registration and had not received a reply as of yet. The CS agent said I didn’t need to register??? That was kind of weird if you ask me. He said all I had to do was provide proof of purchase (Amazon) if I ever encountered problems that would show date of purchase and as long as it fell within 24mo warranty period and issue was no fault of mine, it would be covered. I referred him to this forum that he may want to run up the food chain to his superiors for what appears to be ghosting people who have their robots and are having issues. I also told him that currently, I was completely happy with the my C1 robot but I was within the return period and wouldn’t hesitate to return it via Amazon if I didn’t see some resolution to the issues noted above and go a different direction. So if any of you do get resolution, please update before I return and my 30-day window closes.
 
Asking again, are you able to connect to the app and change any settings?
I can. I really like the C1 robot, but the reports about dealing with Customer Service is getting me nervous if I ever have an issue. The app is pretty straightforward. Allows you to setup multiple pool configurations and allows you to choose mode (floor only, wall only, floor then wall, full pool, or eco floor) as well as setup up a timer. Also allows me to customize pattern in the expert mode for floor and wall patterns. I have now run them all and can't really tell which is best...maybe S pattern for floor and N pattern for wall for my pool, but I really can't tell that much difference on coverage as it seems to ultimately get it all in one run no matter what is selected.
