Yes, I skimmed it off and it came right back up. Then as soon as the SWG turned off the foam disappeared. I have no idea why? The test kit is showing delivery for Friday!! Thank you so much for all your help.

What brand...we have seen contaminants that can potentially do that.

That is a good brand, and the one many of us recommend. I’ve only seen one issue posted with rocks.
@PoolStored @Mdragger88 My heroes! I have added 33oz of liquid chlorine and 2lbs of the CYA Stabilizer. Test kit is showing expected delivery Friday and no foam has came back. So strange!

Foam can be a byproduct of chlorine doing its job (killing stuff).
Your pool has been insufficiently chlorinated allowing organics to proliferate so when the swcg comes on & starts producing chlorine it is immediately working on the organics and making the foam in the area with the most concentrated fc (directly out of the jets).
Add the 3ppm of chlorine each day until your kit arrives -
When it gets here, do all the tests & post the results here like this

Add 30ppm of CYA (dry chlorine stabilizer to the pool) Put it in a couple socks, tie them off, hang in front of a return about 6" out from the side of the pool. Hang from a pole.
While the CYA is dissolving, reduce your pH in .4 increments. Test 30 minutes later, reduce by .4 again. Do this until pH <=7.5 Use muriatic acid.
